ذِكْرُ اسْتِحْبَابِ التَّيَامُنِ لِلْإِنْسَانِ فِي أَسْبَابِهِ اقْتِدَاءً بِالْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ

ibnhibban:5456al-Faḍl b. al-Ḥubāb Bi-al-Baṣrah > ʿAbdullāh b. Rajāʾ > Isrāʾīl > Ashʿath b. Abū al-Shaʿthāʾ from his father > Masrūq > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to prefer doing everything in pairs, even when it came to walking and wearing shoes.  

ابن حبّان:٥٤٥٦أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ بِالْبَصْرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُحِبُّ التَّيَامُنَ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى فِي التَّرَجُّلِ وَالِانْتِعَالِ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to prefer doing things with his right side, such as in performing ablution, stepping out, and wearing shoes. Waki' said once: "Using the right side (when wearing shoes)."
