[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the delegation of Abdul Qais from drinking wine, including Dabba', Han'tam, Muzaffat, Naqeer, and Mazadah al-Majbubah. He said, "Pour out the wine in your cups, wash them, and then drink sweet and pleasant drinks." A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, is it permissible for me to use something similar to these?" The Messenger nodded with his hand and said, "In that case, make it like this." And he gestured with his palm.  

ابن حبّان:٥٤٠١ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَفْدَ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ عَنِ النَّبِيذِ فِي الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْمَزَادَةِ الْمَجْبُوبَةِ وَقَالَ «انْبِذْ فِي سِقَائِكَ وَأَوْكِهِ وَاشْرَبْهُ حُلْوًا طَيِّبًا» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ائْذَنْ لِي فِي مِثْلِ هَذِهِ وَأَشَارَ النَّضْرُ بِكَفِّهِ فَقَالَ «إِذًا تَجْعَلُهَا مِثْلَ هَذِهِ» وَأَشَارَ النَّضْرُ بِبَاعِهِ

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade the delegation of 'Abdul-Qais, when they came to him, Ad-Dubba', An-Naqir, Al-Muzaffat, and large water-skins that are cut from the top and can no longer be closed. He said: 'Make Nabidh in your water-skins, and close them and drink it sweet.' One of them said: 'O Messenger of Allah, give me permission concerning something like this. He said: 'If you make it like this,' and he gestured with his hand, showing him how."  

النسائي:٥٦٤٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا سَوَّارُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

[Machine] The delegation of Banu Abdul Qays, when they came to the Prophet ﷺ, he forbade them from doing Hanatam, Naqir, Muzaffat, and Muzadatul-Majbubah. He said, "Take refuge in your garments and hold onto them, then drink it sweet and good." A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, permit me to do something similar to this." He said, "Then make it similar to this." Yazid raised his hand slightly and said, "Then make it similar to this." And Hisham raised his hand a little higher than that.  

أحمد:١٠٣٧٣ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ وَيَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
