ذِكْرُ إِبَاحَةِ الْمُصَافَحَةِ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ عِنْدَ السَّلَامِ

ibnhibban:492 – Aḥmad b. ʿAlī b. al-Muthanná > Hudbah b. Khālid > Hammām > Qatādah

that he asked Anas bin Malik: "Did the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ use to shake each other's hand?" He said, "Yes." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2729)

ابن حبّان:٤٩٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَكَانَتِ الْمُصَافَحَةُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»

I asked Anas, "Was it a custom of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ to shake hands with one another?" He said, "Yes."

البخاري:٦٢٦٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لأَنَسٍ أَكَانَتِ الْمُصَافَحَةُ فِي أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ نَعَمْ

muslim:555a – Yaḥyá b. Yaḥyá > Bishr b. al-Mufaḍḍal > Abū Maslamah Saʿīd b. Yazīd

I said to Anas b. Malik: Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray while putting on the shoes? He said: Yes.

مسلم:٥٥٥a – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْلَمَةَ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي النَّعْلَيْنِ قَالَ نَعَمْ

tirmidhi:2729 – Sūwayd > ʿAbdullāh > Hammām > Qatādah

that he asked Anas bin Malik: "Did the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ use to shake each other's hand?" He said, "Yes."

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ.

الترمذي:٢٧٢٩ – حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ هَلْ كَانَتِ الْمُصَافَحَةُ فِي أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ نَعَمْ

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

ahmad:11976 – ʿAbbād b. ʿAbbād And Ghassān b. Muḍar > Saʿīd b. Yazīd Abū Maslamah

أحمد:١١٩٧٦ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ وَغَسَّانُ بْنُ مُضَرَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ أَبِي مَسْلَمَةَ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ

darimi:1417 – ʿUthmān b. ʿUmar Anbʾanā Shuʿbah > Abū Maslamah > Saʿīd b. Yazīd al-Azdī

"I asked Anas bin Malik: 'Did the Prophet ﷺ pray in sandals?' He said: 'Yes.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 775)
