ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَمَّا يُسْتَحَبُّ لِلْأَئِمَّةِ تَأَلُّفُ مَنْ رُجِيَ مِنْهُمُ الدِّينُ وَالْإِسْلَامُ

ibnhibban:4501 – al-Faḍl b. al-Ḥubāb > Abū al-Walīd Hishām b. ʿAbd al-Malik > Shuʿbah > Qatādah > Anas

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, the Quraysh have a recent connection to the days of ignorance, and I wanted to reconcile them." Then he said to them: "Is there anyone among you who is not from your group?" They said: "We have a nephew." He ﷺ said: "The nephew of a people is considered one of their own."  

ابن حبّان:٤٥٠١ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ قُرَيْشًا حَدِيثُ عَهْدٍ بِجَاهِلِيَّةٍ فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَتَأَلَّفَهُمْ» ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُمْ «أَفِيكُمْ أَحَدٌ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ؟ » قَالُوا ابْنُ أُخْتٍ لَنَا قَالَ «ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ»

The Prophet ﷺ sent for the Ansar (and when they came), he asked, 'Is there any stranger amongst you?" They said, "No except the son of our sister." Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The son of the sister of some people belongs to them."  

البخاري:٣٥٢٨ – حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ قَالَ

دَعَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الأَنْصَارَ فَقَالَ هَلْ فِيكُمْ أَحَدٌ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ قَالُوا لاَ إِلاَّ ابْنُ أُخْتٍ لَنَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ  

ahmad:13322 – Hāshim > Shuʿbah > Qatādah > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] "From the Prophet ﷺ to the Ansar: Is there anyone among you who is not from your own people? They said: We have a nephew, the son of our sister. He said: The nephew of a people is from them or from their own selves."  

أحمد:١٣٣٢٢ – حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لِلْأَنْصَارِ أَفِيكُمْ أَحَدٌ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ؟ قَالُوا ابْنُ أُخْتٍ لَنَا قَالَ ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ أَوْ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ  

ahmad:12777 – Bahz > Shuʿbah > Qatādah > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gathered the Ansar and asked, "Is there anyone among you who is not from your group?" They replied, "Except for the son of our cousin." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The cousin's son is considered part of the people or from their own people." So, I mentioned this to Mu'awiyah ibn Qurrah and he told me about Anas.  

أحمد:١٢٧٧٧ – حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حِينَ جَمَعَ الْأَنْصَارَ فَقَالَ هَلْ فِيكُمْ أَحَدٌ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ؟ قَالُوا لَا إِلَّا ابْنَ أُخْتٍلَنَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ أَوْ قَالَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ قَالَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِمُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ فَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ أَنَسٍ
