ذِكْرُ الْأَمْرِ بِإِقَامَةِ الْحُدُودِ فِي الْبِلَادِ إِذْ إِقَامَةُ الْحَدِّ فِي بَلَدٍ يَكُونُ أَعَمَّ نَفْعًا مِنْ أَضْعَافِهِ الْقَطْرُ إِذَا عَمَّتْهُ

ibnhibban:4398 – Abū Yaʿlá > Muḥammad b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Sahm > Ibn al-Mubārak > ʿĪsá b. Yazīd > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Something that happens on the earth that is better than forty mornings of rain."  

ابن حبّان:٤٣٩٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَهْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يَزِيدَ * عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «حَدٌّ يُقَامُ فِي الْأَرْضِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ مَطَرِ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَدٌّ يُعْمَلُ بِهِ فِي الأَرْضِ خَيْرٌ لأَهْلِ الأَرْضِ مِنْ أَنْ يُمْطَرُوا أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said, "A boundary established on Earth is better for people than receiving rainfall for thirty or forty mornings."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ حَدٌّ يُقَامُ فِي الْأَرْضِ خَيْرٌ لِلنَّاسِ مِنْ أَنْ يُمْطَرُوا ثَلَاثِينَ أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا

"Abu Hurairah said: 'Carrying out a Hadd punishment in a land is better for its people than if it were to rain for forty nights." (Daif) (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4905)
