ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ بِأَنَّ مَنْ لَمْ يُخْلِصْ عَمَلَهُ لِمَعْبُودِهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يُثَبْ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْعُقْبَى

ibnhibban:395 – ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn b. Sulaymān Bi-al-Fusṭāṭ > Muḥammad b. Hishām b. Abū Khiyarah > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. ʿUthmān > Shuʿbah > al-ʿAlāʾ from his father > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, said: 'I am the best of partners. Whoever performs a deed and associates others with Me in it, I am free from it, and it is for the partner with whom he associated Me.'"

ابن حبّان:٣٩٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بِالْفُسْطَاطِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامِ بْنِ أَبِي خِيَرَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَنَا خَيْرُ الشُّرَكَاءِ مَنْ عَمِلَ عَمَلًا فَأَشْرَكَ فِيهِ غَيْرِي فَأَنَا مِنْهُ بَرِئٌ هُوَ لِلَّذِي أَشْرَكَ بِهِ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَنَا أَغْنَى الشُّرَكَاءِ عَنِ الشِّرْكِ مَنْ عَمِلَ عَمَلاً أَشْرَكَ فِيهِ مَعِي غَيْرِي تَرَكْتُهُ وَشِرْكَهُ

ibnmajah:4202 – Abū Marwān al-ʿUthmānī > ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Abū Ḥāzim > al-ʿAlāʾ b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman from his father > Abū Hurayrah

“Allah says: ‘I am the Most Self-Sufficient and I have no need for an associate. Thus he who does an action for someone else’s sake as well as Mine will have that action renounced by Me to him whom he associated with Me.’”

ابن ماجة:٤٢٠٢ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَرْوَانَ الْعُثْمَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

[Machine] "That the Prophet ﷺ narrates it from his Lord (glorified be He) that He said: 'I am the best of partners. So whoever does an action and associates others with Me in it, I am free from it and he belongs to the one he associated with Me.'"

ahmad-zuhd:243 – ʿAbdullāh > Bī > Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar > Shuʿbah > al-ʿAlāʾ from his father > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] Narrated by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , who narrates from his Lord, saying: "I am the most excellent of partners. Whoever does an act and associates partners with Me in it, then I am free from it and it belongs to the one who associates partners with Me."
