ذِكْرُ فِعْلِ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ هَذَا الشَّيْءَ الْمَزْجُورَ عَنْهُ

ibnhibban:3488ʿImrān b. Mūsá b. Mujāshiʿ > ʿUthmān b. Abū Shaybah > Abū Usāmah > Ismāʿīl b. Abū Khālid Ukhbirnā > ʿĀmir > Abū Bakr b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. al-Ḥārith b. Hishām > Atá ʿĀʾishah > In Abū Hurayrah Yuftīnā

[Machine] "It is forbidden for one who has become sexually impure to fast. What do you say regarding this?" She said, "Bilal used to come to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and give the call to prayer while he was in a state of impurity. He would then perform ablution and I would see water dripping from his shoulders, and yet he would continue fasting."  

ابن حبّان:٣٤٨٨أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ قَالَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ أُخْبِرْنَا عَنْ عَامِرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ أَنَّهُ أَتَى عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُفْتِينَا

أَنَّهُ مَنْ أَصْبَحَ جُنُبًا فَلَا صِيَامَ لَهُ فَمَا تَقُولِينَ لَهُ فِي ذَلِكَ؟ فَقَالَتْ «لَقَدْ كَانَ بِلَالٌ يَأْتِي رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَيُؤْذِنُهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ وَإِنَّهُ لَجُنُبٌ فَيَقُومُ وَيَغْتَسِلُ وَإِنِّي لَأَرَى جَرْيَ الْمَاءِ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ ثُمَّ يَظَلُّ صَائِمًا»

[Machine] "He who wakes up in a state of janabah (impurity due to sexual activity) should not fast, what do you say about that?" She replied, "I have nothing to say about that. I heard the caller announcing the prayer, and I saw water dripping between his shoulders, then he prayed Fajr (morning prayer) and remained fasting."
