ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ قَوْلَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: ثُمَّ صَلَّى سَجْدَتَيْنِ، أَرَادَ بِهِ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ

ibnhibban:2652 – ʿImrān b. Mūsá b. Mujāshiʿ > Maḥfūẓ b. Abū Tawbah > Marwān b. Muʿāwiyah > Yazīd b. Kaysān > Abū Ḥāzim > Abū Hurayrah

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet ﷺ slept and missed the two Rak’ah before Fajr, so he made them up after the sun had risen. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1155)   

ابن حبّان:٢٦٥٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَحْفُوظُ بْنُ أَبِي تَوْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَامَ عَنْ رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ فَصَلَّاهَا بَعْدَمَا طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever forgets the two Rak'ahs of Fajr prayer should pray them when the sun rises."  

الحاكم:١١٥٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ الْقَاضِي ثنا أَبُو قِلَابَةَ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ثنا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ نَسِيَ رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ فَلْيُصَلِّهِمَا إِذَا طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرطهما

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "Whoever misses the two units of the Fajr prayer, let him pray them when the sun rises."
