ibnhibban:2454bḤafṣah

[Machine] "He used to pray two quick units of prayer when the caller to the morning prayer (Fajr) would make the call, and it was a time when no one would disturb him."  

ابن حبّان:٢٤٥٤bوَأَخْبَرَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ

«أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ حِينَ يُنَادِي الْمُنَادِي لِصَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ وَكَانَتْ سَاعَةٌ لَا يَدْخُلُ عَلَيْهِ فِيهَا أَحَدٌ»

[Machine] Hafsah told me that there was an hour during which no one would enter upon the Prophet ﷺ, and during this hour, he used to pray two Rak'ahs when the Fajr (dawn) would rise and the Mu'adhdhin would call for prayer. Ayyub said, "I think he meant the two quick Rak'ahs."  

أحمد:٢٦٤٢٣حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ

وَكَانَتْ سَاعَةٌ لَا يَدْخُلُ عَلَيْهِ فِيهَا أَحَدٌ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ حِينَ يَطْلُعُ الْفَجْرُ تَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَيُنَادِي الْمُنَادِي بِالصَّلَاةِ قَالَ أَيُّوبُ أُرَاهُ قَالَ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ
