ذِكْرُ اسْمِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ الَّذِي كَانَ مَعَ أُسَيْدِ بْنِ حُضَيْرٍ حَيْثُ أَضَاءَتْ عَصَاهُمَا لَهُمَا

ibnhibban:2032 – al-Ḥasan b. Sufyān > Hudbah b. Khālid > Ḥammād b. Salamah > Thābit > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] Abbad ibn Bishr and Usaid ibn Hudayr came out from the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a dark night in Hindis. Each of them had a stick, and one stick shone brighter than anything else. When they separated, each stick continued to shine.

ابن حبّان:٢٠٣٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

«أَنَّ عَبَّادَ بْنَ بِشْرٍ وَأُسَيْدَ بْنَ حُضَيْرٍ خَرَجَا مِنْ عِنْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي لَيْلَةٍ ظَلْمَاءَ حِنْدِسٍ فَكَانَ مَعَ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا عَصًا فَأَضَاءَتْ عَصَا أَحَدِهِمَا كَأَشَدِّ شَيْءٍ فَلَمَّا تَفَرَّقَا أَضَاءَتْ عَصَا كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا»
