ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ ثَانٍ يُصَرِّحُ بِصِحَّةِ مَا ذَكَرْنَاهُ

ibnhibban:1533 – Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm b. Ismāʿīl Bibust > Ibn Abū ʿUmar al-ʿAdanī > Sufyān > ʿAmr b. Dīnār > ʿAṭāʾ b. Abū Rabāḥ > Ibn ʿAbbās

[Machine] "One night, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in complete darkness, and Umar ibn al-Khattab came and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, the women and children have gone to sleep, so should we perform the prayer?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out with water dripping from his head and said, 'If it were not for the hardship on the believers, I would have commanded them to pray this prayer.'"  

ابن حبّان:١٥٣٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بِبُسْتَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

أَعْتَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ بِالْعَشَاءِ فَجَاءَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ الصَّلَاةَ فَقَدْ رَقَدَ النِّسَاءُ وَالْوِلْدَانُ فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَرَأْسُهُ يَقْطُرُ مَاءً وَهُوَ يَقُولُ «لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَأَمَرْتُهُمْ أَنْ يُصَلُّوا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ»

[Machine] I heard Ibn Abbas saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prolonged the night prayer until people slept and woke up, and then slept again and woke up. Umar ibn Al-Khattab stood up and said, 'Offer the prayer.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out with water dripping from his head and said, 'If it were not difficult for my Ummah (nation), I would have ordered them to pray at this time.'"  

الطبراني:١١٤٢٤ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ أَعْتَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْعِشَاءِ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ حَتَّى رَقَدَ النَّاسُ وَاسْتَيْقَظُوا وَرَقَدُوا وَاسْتَيْقَظُوا فَقَامَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ فَقَالَ الصَّلَاةَ فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْطُرُ رَأْسُهُ مَاءً فَقَالَ «لَوْلَا أَنْ يَشُقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لَأَمَرْتُهُمْ أَنْ يُصَلُّوهَا هَكَذَا»
