ذِكْرُ الْأَمْرِ بِتَخْمِيرِ الْإِنَاءِ بِاللَّيْلِ وَلَوْ بِعُودٍ يُعْرَضُ عَلَيْهِ

ibnhibban:1270Muḥammad b. al-Mundhir b. Saʿīd > Yūsuf b. Saʿīd > Ḥajjāj > Ibn Jurayj > Abū al-Zubayr > Jābir > Abū Ḥumayd al-Sāʿidī

[Machine] "I (have) brought the Messenger of Allah ﷺ milk, and he (was) in need of food (i.e. not having any food yet), not fermented. So he said, 'Shouldn't you ferment it, even if you let a stick touch it?'"  

ابن حبّان:١٢٧٠أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِلَبَنٍ وَهُوَ بِالنَّقِيعِ غَيْرِ مُخَمَّرٍ فَقَالَ «أَلَا خَمَّرْتَهُ وَلَوْ تَعْرِضُ عَلَيْهِ عُودًا»
