[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, spent a night at my place. I noticed that he was missing, so I thought he had gone to some of his wives. I searched for him and found him in prostration. I placed my hand on him and heard him saying, "Forgive me for what I have concealed and what I have made public."  

الحاكم:٨٠٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَاضِي ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ خَيْرَانَ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ قَالَا ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

بَاتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْلَةً عِنْدِي قَالَتْ فَفَقَدْتُهُ فَظَنَنْتُهُ أَنَّهُ ذَهَبَ إِلَى بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ قَالَتْ فَالْتَمَسْتُهُ فَانْتَهَيْتُ إِلَيْهِ وَهُوَ سَاجِدٌ فَوَضَعْتُ يَدِي عَلَيْهِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «اغْفِرْ لِي مَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ»  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» على شرطهما

"I noticed that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was missing from bed, so I started to look for him, and I thought that he had gone to one of his concubines. Then my hand fell on him when he was prostrating and saying: "Allahummaghfirli ma asrartu wa ma a'lant (O Allah, forgive me for what (sin) I have concealed and what I have done openly).'"  

النسائي:١١٢٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِلاَلِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ قَالَ قَالَتْ

عَائِشَةُ ؓ فَقَدْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ مَضْجَعِهِ فَجَعَلْتُ أَلْتَمِسُهُ وَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ أَتَى بَعْضَ جَوَارِيهِ فَوَقَعَتْ يَدِي عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ سَاجِدٌ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ

"I noticed that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was missing and I thought he had gone to visit one of his concubines, so I looked for him and found him prostrating and saying: 'Rabbighfirli ma asrartu wa ma a'lant (O Allah, forgive me for what (sin) I have concealed and what I have done openly).'"
