“You will be picked over just as (good) dates are selected (separated) from its bad ones. So the best of you will be taken and the worst of you will be left, so die if you can.”  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَتُنْتَقَوُنَّ كَمَا يُنْتَقَى التَّمْرُ مِنْ أَغْفَالِهِ فَلْيَذْهَبَنَّ خِيَارُكُمْ وَلَيَبْقَيَنَّ شِرَارُكُمْ فَمُوتُوا إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ  

“You will be picked over just as (good) dates are selected (separated) from its bad ones. So the best of you will be taken and the worst of you will be left, so die if you can.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4038)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَتُنْتَقَيَنَّ كَمَا يُنْتَقَى التَّمْرُ مِنَ الْجَفْنَةِ فَلْيَذْهَبَنَّ خِيَارُكُمْ وَلَيَبْقَيَنَّ شِرَارُكُمْ فَمُوتُوا إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, you will be sifted just as dates are sifted from their husks. So the best among you will go and the worst among you will remain until only those who Allah does not care about will remain, so die if you can."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَتُنْتَقَيَنَّ كَمَا يُنْتَقَى التَّمْرُ مِنَ الْجَفْنَةِ فَلْيَذْهَبَنَّ خِيَارُكُمْ وَلَيَبْقَيَنَّ شِرَارُكُمْ حَتَّى لَا يَبْقَى إِلَّا مَنْ لَا يَعْبَأُ اللَّهُ بِهِمْ فَمُوتُوا إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ»  

“You will be picked over just as (good) dates are selected (separated) from its bad ones. So the best of you will be taken and the worst of you will be left, so die if you can.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4038)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَتُنْتَقَيَنَّ كَمَا يُنْتَقَى التَّمْرُ مِنَ الْجَفْنَةِ فَلْيَذْهَبَنَّ خِيَارُكُمْ وَلَيَبْقَيَنَّ شِرَارُكُمْ حَتَّى لَا يَبْقَى إِلَّا مَنْ لَا يَعْبَأُ اللَّهُ بِهِمْ فَمُوتُوا إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ»  

"لتُنْتقُون كَمَا يُنْتَقَى التَّمْرُ من الحُثَالة، فليذْهَبَنَّ خيَاركمْ ولَيبْقَيَنَّ شرَارُكُم، فمُوتُوا إِنَّ اسْتَطَعْتُم".
