[Machine] "The king of India presented the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a jar containing ginger. He then fed his companions piece by piece, and also fed me a piece of it."  

الحاكم:٧١٩٠ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذٍ الْعَدْلُ ثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ قَالَا ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَكَّامٍ ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْمُتَوَكِّلِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ

«أَهْدَى مَلِكُ الْهِنْدِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ جَرَّةً فِيهَا زَنْجَبِيلٌ فَأَطْعَمَ أَصْحَابَهُ قِطْعَةً قِطْعَةً وَأَطْعَمَنِي مِنْهَا قِطْعَةً»  

قَالَ الْحَاكِمُ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى «لَمْ أُخَرِّجْ مِنْ أَوَّلِ هَذَا الْكِتَابِ إِلَى هُنَا لِعَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ الْقُرَشِيِّ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى حَرْفًا وَاحِدًا وَلَمْ أَحْفَظْ فِي أَكْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الزَّنْجَبِيلَ سِوَاهُ فَخَرَّجْتُهُ» هذا مما ضعفوا به عمرا تركه أحمد
