hakim:7034Abū Naṣr Aḥmad b. Sahl al-Faqīh Bibukhārá > Ṣāliḥ b. Muḥammad b. Ḥabīb al-Ḥāfiẓ > Muḥammad b. Abū Bakr And ʾAḥmad b. al-Miqdām > al-Faḍl b. Sulaymān > Usāmah b. Zayd > ʿUbaydullāh b. Abū Rāfiʿ a freed slave of Um Salamah > Um Salamah

[Machine] I heard Umm Salamah saying, "I was with the Prophet ﷺ when two men came to him arguing over inheritance, and neither of them had any evidence. Each one of them said to his companion, "O Messenger of Allah, this is my right that I asked from so-and-so." He said, "No, but both of you go and find someone to arbitrate, then both of you draw lots, then divide it between yourselves, and finally, every one of you who gets the share will give his companion his right."
