[Machine] "And he said in the end, when her waiting period was over, Abu Jahl and Muawiyah ibn Abi Sufyan proposed to her. So the Prophet ﷺ consulted her and said, 'As for Muawiyah, he has good manners but no wealth, and as for Abu Jahl, I fear his harsh behavior towards you.' So he ordered me to marry Usama ibn Zaid, and I married Usama ibn Zaid. Jabir ibn Abdullah narrated this from Fatimah bint Qays."  

وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ فَلَمَّا انْقَضَتْ عِدَّتُهَا خَطَبَهَا أَبُو جَهْمٍ وَمُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ فَاسْتَأْمَرَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «أَمَّا مُعَاوِيَةُ فَصُعْلُوكٌ لَا مَالَ لَهُ وَأَمَّا أَبُو جَهْمٍ فَإِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكِ شَقَاشِقَهُ» فَأَمَرَنِي بِأُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ فَتَزَوَّجْتُ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ وَقَدْ رَوَى جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍسكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
