[Machine] Then the messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, married Maria bint Shamun, who was gifted to him by the Mukauqis, the ruler of Alexandria. She came with her sister Serene and a eunuch called Mabur. The messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, gifted Serene to Hassaan bin Thabit. Both Mukauqis and Serene were Copts who embraced Christianity. Maria, the wife of the messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, gave birth to Ibrahim in the month of Dhul-Hijjah in the eighth year of Hijrah. Ibrahim died in Al-Madinah at the age of eighteen months  

ثُمَّ تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَارِيَةَ بِنْتَ شَمْعُونَ وَهِيَ الَّتِي أَهْدَاهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْمُقَوْقِسُ صَاحِبُ الْإِسْكَنْدَرِيَّةِ وَأَهْدَى مَعَهَا أُخْتَهَا سِيرِينَ وَخَصِيًّا يُقَالُ لَهُ مَابُورُ فَوَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ سِيرِينَ لِحَسَّانَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ وَالْمُقَوْقِسُ مِنَ الْقِبْطِ وَهُمْ نَصَارَى وَوَلَدَتْ مَارِيَةُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي ذِي الْحِجَّةِ سَنَةَ ثَمَانٍ مِنَ الْهِجْرَةِ وَمَاتَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَمَانِيَةَ عَشَرَ شَهْرًا
