hakim:6806 – Abū al-Ḥusayn b. Yaʿqūb al-Ḥāfiẓ ؒ Taʿālá

[Machine] Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ married Zainab bint Khuzaimah, who was the mother of the poor from the tribe of Banu 'Amir ibn Sa'sa'a. She was previously married to Tufail ibn al-Harith, but he passed away and she later passed away in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ , and she did not stay with him for long. Goldziher remained silent about this in his summary.  

الحاكم:٦٨٠٦ – أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ ثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ

«ثُمَّ تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ خُزَيْمَةَ وَهِيَ أُمُّ الْمَسَاكِينِ مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ وَكَانَتْ قَبْلَهُ عِنْدَ الطُّفَيْلِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ فَتُوُفِّيَتْ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَلَمْ تَلْبَثْ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا يَسِيرًا» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

«تُوُفِّيَتْ زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافِ بْنِ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ وَهِيَ أُمُّ الْمَسَاكِينِ كَانَتْ تُسَمَّى بِهِ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ تُوُفِّيَتْ بِالْمَدِينَةِ بَعْدَ الْهِجْرَةِ فِي حَيَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص  

tabarani:20614 – Abū Usāmah ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad b. Abū Usāmah al-Ḥalabī

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married Zainab bint Khuzaima, who was the mother of the needy. She was named so because of her frequent feeding of the poor. She was from the Banu Hilal bin 'Amir bin Sa'sa'a tribe. She passed away, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained alive only for a short while after her."  

الطبراني:٢٠٦١٤ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ الْحَلَبِيُّ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَبِي مَنِيعٍ الرُّصَافِيُّ ثنا جَدِّي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ

«تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ خُزَيْمَةَ وَهِيَ أُمُّ الْمَسَاكِينِ سُمِّيَتْ لِكَثْرَةِ إِطْعَامِهَا الْمَسَاكِينَ وَهِيَ مِنْ بَنِي هِلَالِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ وَتُوُفِّيَتْ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَيٌّ لَمْ تَلْبَثْ مَعَهُ إِلَّا يَسِيرًا»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married Zainab bint Khuzayma al-Hilaliyya, the mother of the poor. She was previously married to Huthayn or Tufayl ibn al-Harith. She died in Madinah, being his first wife to pass away.  

الطبراني:٢٠٦١٦ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ

«تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ خُزَيْمَةَ الْهِلَالِيَّةَ أُمَّ الْمَسَاكِينِ كَانَتْ قَبْلَهُ عِنْدَ الْحُصَيْنِ أَوْ عِنْدَ الطُّفَيْلِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ مَاتَتْ بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَوَّلُ نِسَائِهِ مَوْتًا»
