[Machine] "My father said, 'I have grown old and my companions and congregation have passed away. Take hold of my hand.'" He said, "So he leaned on me until he reached the farthest part of al-Baqi’, a place where one is not buried. He said, 'O my son, when I die, bury me here and do not strike a stone on my grave, nor walk with me carrying fire, nor mourn for me loudly, nor make a great announcement about my death, and walk with me in a deep alley, and let your walk be easy.'" So he died on Friday, and I disliked calling out to people when he forbade me, lest they come to me and say, "When will you take him out?" So I would say, "When I finish his preparation." He said, "So the people filled al-Baqi' and remained silent about it."  

لِي أَبِي «إِنِّي كَبِرْتُ وَذَهَبَ أَصْحَابِي وَجَمَاعِتِي فَخُذْ بِيَدِي» قَالَ فَاتَّكَأَ عَلَيَّ حَتَّى جَاءَ إِلَى أَقْصَى الْبَقِيعِ مَكَانًا لَا يُدْفَنُ فِيهِ فَقَالَ «يَا بُنَيَّ إِذَا أَنَا مُتُّ فَادْفِنِّي هَا هُنَا وَلَا تَضْرِبْ عَلَيَّ فُسْطَاطًا وَلَا تَمْشِ مَعِي بِنَارٍ وَلَا تُبْكِيَنَّ عَلَيَّ نَائِحَةً وَلَا تُؤَذِّنْ بِي أَحَدًا وَاسْلُكْ بِي زُقَاقَ عَمْقَةَ وَلْيَكُنْ مَشْيُكَ خَبَبًا» فَهَلَكَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أُؤَذِّنَ النَّاسَ لَمَّا كَانَ نَهَانِي فَيَأْتُونِي فَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى تُخْرِجُوهُ؟ فَأَقُولُ إِذَا فَرَغْتُ مِنْ جِهَازِهِ أُخْرِجُهُ قَالَ فَامْتَلَأَ عَلَى الْبَقِيعِ النَّاسُسكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
