[Machine] "And Al-Hakam bin Amr bin Mujadda bin Hizyam bin Al-Harith bin Nuayla bin Mulayk bin Dhamrah bin Bakr bin Abd Manat bin Kinana, and Nuayla, the brother of Ghifar bin Mulayk, was a companion of the Prophet ﷺ until he passed away. Then he moved to Basra and settled there. Ziyad bin Abi Sufyan appointed him as a governor of Khorasan until he died there in the year fifty."

«وَالْحَكَمُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُجَدَّعِ بْنِ حِذْيَمِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ نُعَيْلَةَ بْنِ مُلَيْكِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَاةَ بْنِ كِنَانَةَ وَنُعَيْلَةُ أَخُو غِفَارِ بْنِ مُلَيْكٍ صَحِبَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ حَتَّى قُبِضَ ثُمَّ تَحَوَّلَ إِلَى الْبَصْرَةِ فَنَزَلَهَا فَوَلَّاهُ زِيَادُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَلَى خُرَاسَانَ حَتَّى مَاتَ بِهَا سَنَةَ خَمْسِينَ»
