[Machine] "He was captured in Mecca, and Umm Anmar bint Siba', from the tribe of Khuzaiyah, bought him. The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, established a brotherhood between Khabbab and Jabir ibn 'Atik. Khabbab witnessed the battles of Badr, Uhud, the Trench, and all other major events with the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him. Khabbab passed away in the year thirty-seven, at the age of seventy-three."  

أَنَّهُ سُبِيَ بِمَكَّةَ فَاشْتَرَتْهُ أُمُّ أَنْمَارٍ بِنْتُ سِبَاعٍ الْخُزَاعِيَّةُ وَآخَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ خَبَّابٍ وَبَيْنَ جَبْرِ بْنِ عَتِيكٍ وَشَهِدَ خَبَّابٌ بَدْرًا وأُحُدًا وَالْخَنْدَقَ وَالْمَشَاهِدَ كُلَّهَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَتُوُفِّيَ خَبَّابٌ سَنَةَ سَبْعٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ وَهُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ابْنُ ثَلَاثٍ وَسَبْعِينَ سَنَةً»
