The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took a bath and offered two rak'ahs of prayer and said the dawn prayer. I do not think he performed ablution afresh after taking a bath. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 250)  

الحاكم:٥٤٦ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى أَنْبَأَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ ثنا الْمُعَافَى بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا زُهَيْرٌ وَثنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ثنا زُهَيْرٌ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ وَلَا أَرَاهُ يُحْدِثُ وُضُوءًا بَعْدَ الْغُسْلِ»  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ وَلَهُ شَاهِدٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ مُلَخَّصٌ مُفَسَّرٌ وَلَمْ يَشُكَّ فِيهِ الرَّاوِي» على شرطهما
