[Machine] "He was a brother who mentioned the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, but he did not mention Ibn Mas'ood. So I said to him, 'I see that you do not mention Ibn Mas'ood.' He said, 'That man is someone whom I do not prefer anyone over.'"  

الحاكم:٥٣٩٥أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعُمَرِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثَنَا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ ثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ قَالَ

كَانَ شَقِيقٌ يَذْكُرُ صَحَابَةَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَرَاكَ لَا تَذْكُرُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ «ذَاكَ رَجُلٌ لَا أُفَضِّلُ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدًا»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرط البخاري ومسلم
