الحاكم:٥٢٨٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ قَالَ قِيلَ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ إِنَّ نِسْوَةً مِنْ بَنِي الْمُغِيرَةِ قَدِ اجْتَمَعْنَ فِي دَارِ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ يَبْكِينَ وَإِنَّا نَكْرَهُ أَنْ يَؤْذِينَكَ فَلَوْ نَهَيْتُهُنَّ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ «مَا عَلَيْهِنَّ

أَنْ يُهْرِقْنَ مِنْ دُمُوعِهِنَّ سَجْلًا أَوْ سَجْلَيْنِ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَقْعٌ وَلَا لَقْلَقَةٌ» يَعْنِي بِاللَّقْعِ اللَّطْمُ وبِالْلَقْلَقَةِ الصُّرَاخُ سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
