[Machine] "Bilal ibn Rabah, the freed slave of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, known as Abu Abdullah, was born in Surat and died in Damascus in the year twenty. He was buried near the Small Gate in the cemetery of Damascus, at the age of sixty-six."  

الحاكم:٥٢٢٩حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَطَّةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رُسْتَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الشَّاذَكُونِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ

«بِلَالُ بْنُ رَبَاحٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ وَيُكَنَّى أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَكَانَ مِنْ مُوَلَّدِي السُّرَاةِ مَاتَ بِدِمَشْقَ سَنَةَ عِشْرِينَ فَدُفِنَ عِنْدَ الْبَابِ الصَّغِيرِ فِي مَقْبَرَةِ دِمَشْقَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ بِضْعٍ وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةً»
