[Machine] "When the battle of Yamamah took place, I went to Thabit ibn Qays ibn Shammas while he was dyeing his hair. I said, 'O uncle, don't you see what people are going through?' He quickly put on his robes and approached, saying, 'Now, now.' He repeated this phrase with great enthusiasm and pointed with his finger to the faces of the people, mimicking their actions. He said, 'How terrible that you have become like this! This is not how we used to fight alongside the Prophet ﷺ .' Then he fought until he was killed." (This narration is considered authentic according to the criteria of the two sheikhs, referring to Imam al-Bukhari and Muslim.)
