[Machine] "And a man said to him, 'Indeed, Ali is being neglected by you, while you have turned away from him.' So Saad said, 'By Allah, I have seen a view, and my opinion is that Ali ibn Abi Talib should be given three things. For me to be given one of them is dearer to me than the world and all that is in it.' The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said to him on the Day of Ghadeer Khumm after praising and glorifying Allah, 'Do you not know that I have more authority over the believers?' We said, 'Yes.' He said, 'O Allah, whomever I am their master, Ali is his master. O Allah, be a friend to his friends and an enemy to his enemies.' And he was brought on the day of Khaybar, while his eyes were ailing and he said, 'O Messenger of Allah, indeed my eyes are ailing.' The Prophet placed his spittle into his eyes and prayed for him, and his eyes were healed. Then he was martyred and Khaybar was conquered. The Prophet ﷺ brought out his uncle, Abbas, and others from the mosque and Abbas said to him, 'Are you expelling us while we are your family and your supporters, and you are leaving Ali behind?' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'I am not expelling you and leaving Ali behind, but it is Allah who has expelled you and brought Ali forth.' The ruler remained silent regarding its correction."
