[Machine] When the Bay'ah (pledge of allegiance) of Ali came to Hudayfah, he said, "I will not pledge allegiance to anyone after him except As'ar or Abtar."

الحاكم:٤٥٩٦ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْفَضْلِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ثنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ثنا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ قَالَ

لَمَّا جَاءَتْ بَيْعَةُ عَلِيٍّ إِلَى حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ «لَا أُبَايِعُ بَعْدَهُ إِلَّا أَصْعَرَ أَوْ أَبْتَرَ»

قَالَ الْحَاكِمُ «هَذِهِ الْأَخْبَارُ الْوَارِدَةُ فِي بَيْعَةِ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كُلُّهَا صَحِيحَةٌ مُجْمَعٌ عَلَيْهَا فَأَمَّا قَوْلُ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ وَسَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ وَأَبَا مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيَّ وَمُحَمَّدَ بْنَ مَسْلَمَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ وَأُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ قَعَدُوا عَنْ بَيْعَتِهِ فَإِنَّ هَذَا قَوْلُ مَنْ يَجْحَدُ حَقِيقَةَ تِلْكَ الْأَحْوَالِ فَاسْمَعِ الْآنَ حَقِيقَتَهَا»
