[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Allah will never unite this ummah - or he said, my ummah - on misguidance. They will follow the greatest group of Muslims. So whoever deviates, deviates into the Hellfire." Umair bin Ja'far Al-Basri narrated to us, saying: "This is mentioned in the book of Abu Al-Husayn, from Salim bin Abi Al-Dhayyal."  

الحاكم:٣٩٥ – حَدَّثَناهُ أبُو الحُسَيْنِ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُكْرَمٍ البَزّارُ، بِبَغْدادَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غالِبٍ، ثنا خالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ثنا المُعْتَمِرُ، عَنْ سَلْمِ بْنِ أبِي الذَّيّالِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قالَ:

قالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «لا يَجْمَعُ اللَّهُ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةَ - أوْ قالَ أُمَّتِي - عَلى الضَّلالَةِ أبَدًا، واتَّبَعُوا السَّوادَ الأعْظَمَ فَإنَّهُ مَن شَذَّ شَذَّ فِي النّارِ». قالَ لَنا عُمَرُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ البَصْرِيُّ: هَكَذا فِي كِتابِ أبِي الحُسَيْنِ، عَنْ سَلْمِ بْنِ أبِي الذَّيّالِ.  

قالَ الحاكِمُ أبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: «وهَذا لَوْ كانَ مَحْفُوظًا مِنَ الرّاوِي لَكانَ مِن شَرْطِ الصَّحِيحِ، والخِلافُ السّادِسُ عَلى المُعْتَمِرِ فِيهِ

قالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «لا يَجْمَعُ اللَّهُ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةَ عَلى الضَّلالَةِ أبَدًا» وقالَ: «يَدُ اللَّهِ عَلى الجَماعَةِ فاتَّبِعُوا السَّوادَ الأعْظَمَ، فَإنَّهُ مَن شَذَّ شَذَّ فِي النّارِ».  

«خالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ القَرَنِيُّ هَذا شَيْخٌ قَدِيمٌ لِلْبَغْدادِيِّينَ، ولَوْ حَفِظَ هَذا الحَدِيثَ لَحَكَمْنا لَهُ بِالصِّحَّةِ، والخِلافُ الثّانِي فِيهِ عَلى المُعْتَمِرِ

[Machine] The Prophet of Allah (SAW) said, "Allah will never unite my Ummah upon misguidance, and the hand of Allah is upon the group here (indicating a straight path). So follow the majority, for whoever deviates will be in Hellfire."  

الحاكم:٣٩٦ – أخْبَرْناهُ أبُو عَلِيٍّ الحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الحافِظُ، أنْبَأ سَهْلُ بْنُ أحْمَدَ بْنِ عُثْمانَ الواسِطِيُّ، مِن كِتابِهِ، ثنا يَحْيى بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ، ثنا المُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمانَ، قالَ: قالَ أبُو سُفْيانَ سُلَيْمانُ بْنُ سُفْيانَ المَدَنِيُّ: عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ﷺ، قالَ: «لا يَجْمَعُ اللَّهُ أُمَّتِي عَلى ضَلالَةٍ أبَدًا، ويَدُ اللَّهِ عَلى الجَماعَةِ هَكَذا، فاتَّبِعُوا السَّوادَ الأعْظَمَ، فَإنَّهُ مَن شَذَّ شَذَّ فِي النّارِ».
