hakim:3632Abū ʿAbdullāh Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb al-Ḥāfiẓ Imlāʾ > Muḥammad b. ʿAbd al-Wahhāb > Muḥāḍir b. al-Muwarriʿ > Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father > ʿĀʾishah > Kānat > Linisāʾ

[Machine] "She (Aisha) used to say to the wives of the Prophet ﷺ, 'What prevents a woman from giving herself to you?' So Allah revealed this verse regarding the wives of the Prophet ﷺ, 'You can defer whom you will of them, and you may accept whom you will' [Quran 33:51]. Aisha said to the Prophet ﷺ, 'I see that your Lord hurries to fulfill your desires.'"  

الحاكم:٣٦٣٢حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ إِمْلَاءً ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ أَنْبَأَ مُحَاضِرُ بْنُ الْمُوَرِّعِ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَقُولُ لِنِسَاءِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَا تَسْتَحْيِي الْمَرْأَةُ أَنْ تَهَبَ نَفْسَهَا؟ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ فِي نِسَاءِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ {تُرْجِي مَنْ تَشَاءَ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُؤْوِي إِلَيْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ} [الأحزاب 51] فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ «أَرَى رَبَّكَ يُسَارِعُ لَكَ فِي هَوَاكَ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ بِهَذِهِ السِّيَاقَةِ على شرط البخاري ومسلم ولم يخرجاه بهذه السياقة

Does the woman not feel shy of offering herself to a man? Then Allah the Exalted and Glorious revealed this verse:" You may defer any of them you wish and take to yourself any you wish." I ('A'isha said): It seems to me that your Lord hastens to satisfy your desire.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "I used to feel jealous of those (women) who offered themselves (in marriage) to the Prophet and I said: 'Would a free woman offer herself?' Then Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, revealed: 'You can postpone whom you will of them, and you may receive whom you will.' I said: 'By Allah, I see that your Lord is quick to respond to your wishes.'"  

النسائي:٣١٩٩أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كُنْتُ أَغَارُ عَلَى اللاَّتِي وَهَبْنَ أَنْفُسَهُنَّ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَقُولُ أَوَتَهَبُ الْحُرَّةُ نَفْسَهَا فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ ﷻ { تُرْجِي مَنْ تَشَاءُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُؤْوِي إِلَيْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ } قُلْتُ وَاللَّهِ مَا أَرَى رَبَّكَ إِلاَّ يُسَارِعُ لَكَ فِي هَوَاكَ

"Wouldn't a woman feel too shy to offer herself to the Prophet?" Until Aileh revealed; "You (O Muhammad) can postpone (the turn of) whom you will of them (your wives), and you may receive whom you will.” She said: "Then I said: 'Your Lord is quick to make things easy for you."'

[Machine] "She used to criticize the women who dedicated themselves to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, saying, 'Doesn't a woman feel ashamed to offer herself without a dowry?' So Allah revealed {You may defer any of them you wish and take to yourself any you wish. And if you desire any you have set aside, there is no blame upon you} [Al-Ahzab: 51] to you. It is up to you whom you wish and whom you desire from those whom you have set aside, and there is no blame upon you.’ She said, ‘Verily, I see that your Lord hastens to fulfill your desire.'"  

أحمد:٢٥٢٥١حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تُعَيِّرُ النِّسَاءَ اللَّاتِي وَهَبْنَ أَنْفُسَهُنَّ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ أَلَا تَسْتَحْيِي الْمَرْأَةُ أَنْ تَعْرِضَ نَفْسَهَا بِغَيْرِ صَدَاقٍ؟ فَنَزَلَ أَوْ قَالَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {تُرْجِي مَنْ تَشَاءُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُؤْوِي} [الأحزاب 51] إِلَيْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَمَنْ ابْتَغَيْتَ مِمَّنْ عَزَلْتَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكَ قَالَتْ إِنِّي أَرَى رَبَّكَ ﷻ يُسَارِعُ لَكَ فِي هَوَاكَ
