[Machine] A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, how many prophets were there before Adam?" He ﷺ replied, "Yes, Adam was a prophet, a learned one and a speaker." The man asked, "How many generations were there between Adam and Noah?" He replied, "Ten generations." The man asked, "And how many generations were there between Noah and Ibrahim (Abraham)?" He replied, "Ten generations." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, how many prophets were there in total?" He replied, "Three hundred and fifteen great ones."  

الحاكم:٣٠٣٩ – حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْقَارِئُ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو تَوْبَةَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ الْحَلَبِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَلَّامٍ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو أُمَامَةَ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَبِيًّا كَانَ آدَمُ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ مُعَلَّمٌ مُكَلَّمٌ» قَالَ كَمْ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ نُوحٍ؟ قَالَ «عَشْرُ قُرُونٍ» قَالَ كَمْ بَيْنَ نُوحٍ وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ؟ قَالَ «عَشْرُ قُرُونٍ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَمْ كَانَتِ الرُّسُلُ؟ قَالَ «ثَلَاثَ مِائَةٍ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ جَمًّا غَفِيرًا»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرط مسلم
