[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to recite the following in Arabic as follows:

"And We ordained for them therein a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose" (Al-Ma'idah 5:45) in the nominative case, "and a tooth for a tooth" (Al-Ma'idah 5:45) in the accusative case.  

الحاكم:٢٩٢٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ ثنا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَلِيِّ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ {وَكَتَبْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ فِيهَا أَنَّ النَّفْسَ بِالنَّفْسِ} [المائدة 45] بِالنَّصْبِ {وَالْعَيْنُ بِالْعَيْنِ} [المائدة 45] بِالرَّفْعِ  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» وَرَوَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ بِزِيَادَاتِ أَلْفَاظِصحيح
