ذِكْرُ وَصْفِ عُقُوبَةِ أَقْوَامٍ مِنْ أَجْلِ أَعْمَالٍ ارْتَكَبُوهَا، أُرِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِيَّاهَا

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "While I was sleeping, two men came to me and took hold of my upper arms. They brought me to a rugged mountain and said to me, 'Ascend until you reach the top of this mountain.' When I reached the top, I heard a loud voice. I asked, 'What is this noise?' They said, 'This is the howling of the people of Hell.' Then, they took me farther and I saw people hanging from their ankles and their mouths bleeding. I asked, 'Who are these people?' It was said, 'These are the ones who break their fast before it is time to do so.' Then, they took me and I saw a group of people whose skin was peeling off and their stench was unbearable. I asked, 'Who are these people?' It was said, 'These are the adulterers and fornicators.' Then, they took me and I saw women whose breasts were being torn apart by snakes. I asked, 'What is happening to these women?' It was said, 'These are the women who prevent their children from breastfeeding.' Then, they took me and I saw young boys playing between two rivers. I asked, 'Who are these boys?' It was said, 'These are the righteous offspring.' Then, I was honored with great honor. I saw three men drinking from a wine-filled cup. I asked, 'Who are these men?' They said, 'These are Ibrahim, Musa, and 'Isa, and they are waiting for you.'"  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «بَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ إِذْ أَتَانِي رَجُلَانِ فَأَخَذَا بِضَبْعَيَّ فَأَتَيَا بِي جَبَلًا وَعْرًا فَقَالَا لِي اصْعَدْ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنْتُ فِي سَوَاءِ الْجَبَلِ فَإِذَا أَنَا بِصَوْتٍ شَدِيدٍ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذِهِ الْأَصْوَاتُ؟ قَالَ هَذَا عُوَاءُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ بِي فَإِذَا أَنَا بِقَوْمٍ مُعَلَّقِينَ بِعَرَاقِيبِهِمْ مُشَقَّقَةٍ أَشْدَاقُهُمْ تَسِيلُ أَشْدَاقُهُمْ دَمًا فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ فَقِيلَ هَؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ يُفْطِرُونَ قَبْلَ تَحِلَّةِ صَوْمِهِمْ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ بِي فَإِذَا بِقَوْمٍ أَشَدِّ شَيْءٍ انْتِفَاخًا وَأَنْتَنِهِ رِيحًا وَأَسْوَئِهِ مَنْظَرًا فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ قِيلَ الزَّانُونَ وَالزَّوَانِي ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ بِي فَإِذَا بِنِسَاءٍ تَنْهَشُ ثَدْيَهُنَّ الْحَيَّاتُ قُلْتُ مَا بَالُ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قِيلَ هَؤُلَاءِ اللَّاتِي يَمْنَعْنَ أَوْلَادَهُنَّ أَلْبَانَهُنَّ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ بِي فَإِذَا أَنَا بِغِلْمَانٍ يَلْعَبُونَ بَيْنَ نَهْرَيْنِ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ فَقِيلَ هَؤُلَاءِ ذَرَارِيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ثُمَّ شَرَفَ بِي شَرَفًا فَإِذَا أَنَا بِثَلَاثَةٍ يَشْرَبُونَ مِنْ خَمْرٍ لَهُمْ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالُوا هَذَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ وَمُوسَى وَعِيسَى وَهُمْ يَنْتَظِرُونَكَ»  

[Machine] Narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: "While I was sleeping, I was brought and taken to a steep mountain. I was told to climb, but I said that I cannot climb. He said, 'I will make it easy for you.' So I climbed until I reached the top of the mountain. When I was on top, I heard some voices and asked, 'What are these voices?' It was said, 'These are the voices of the people of Hell.' Then, I was taken until I passed by a group of people with the most swollen bodies and the most disgusting appearance, and their smell was like the smell of putrid meat. I asked, 'Who are these?' It was said, 'These are the fornicators and the adulterers.' Then, I was taken until I passed by women hanging from their breasts. The milk was flowing from their breasts, but they could not feed their children. I asked, 'Who are these?' They said, 'These are the women who prevented their children from breastfeeding.' Then, I was taken until I passed by people whose mouths were torn open, and their throats were being torn apart, with their blood flowing. I asked, 'Who are these?' It was said, 'These are the people who break their fast before its prescribed time.' Then, I was taken until I found three people drinking wine. I asked, 'Who are these?' It was said, 'This is Zaid, Ja'far, and Ibn Rawaha.' Then, I was taken until I saw young boys playing between two rivers. I asked, 'Who are these?' It was said, 'These are the servants of the believers, cared for by Ibrahim.' Then, I was taken until I found three people. I asked, 'Who are these?' It was said, 'These are Ibrahim, Musa, and 'Isa, peace be upon them, waiting for you.'"  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ بَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ إِذْ أُتِيتُ فَانْطُلِقَ بِي إِلَى جَبَلٍ وَعْرٍ فَقِيلَ اصْعَدْ فَقُلْتُ إِنِّي لَسْتُ أَسْتَطِيعُ الصَّعُودَ قَالَ أَنَا سَأُسَهِّلُهُ لَكَ قَالَ فَصَعِدْتُ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنْتُ فِي سَوَاءِ الْجَبَلِ إِذْ أَنَا بِأَصْوَاتٍ فَقُلْتُ مَا هَذِهِ الْأَصْوَاتُ؟ قِيلَ هَذِهِ أَصْوَاتُ جَهَنَّمَ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ بِي حَتَّى مَرَرْتُ بِقَوْمٍ أَشَدِّ شَيْءٍ انْتِفَاخًا وَأَسْوَئِهِ مَنْظَرًا وَأَنْتَنِهِ رِيحًا رِيحُهُمْ رِيحُ الْمَرَاحِيضِ قُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قِيلَ هَؤُلَاءِ الزَّانُونَ وَالزَّوَانِي ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ بِي حَتَّى مَرَّ بِي عَلَى نِسْوَةٍ مُعَلَّقَاتٍ بِثَدْيِهِنَّ تَنْهَشُ بِهِنَّ الْحَيَّاتُ قُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالُوا هَؤُلَاءِ اللَّوَاتِي يَمْنَعْنَ أَوْلَادَهُنَّ أَلْبَانَهُنَّ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ بِي حَتَّى مَرَرْتُ عَلَى قَوْمٍ مُعَلَّقِينَ بِعَرَاقِيبِهِمْ مُشَقَّقَةٌ أَشْدَاقُهُمْ تَسِيلُ أَشْدَاقُهُمْ دَمًا فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالَ هَؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ يُفْطِرُونَ قَبْلَ حِينِ فِطْرِهِمْ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ بِي حَتَّى أَشْرَفْتُ عَلَى ثَلَاثَةِ نَفَرٍ يَشْرَبُونَ مِنْ خَمْرٍ لَهُمْ قُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالَ هَذَا زَيْدٌ وَجَعْفَرٌ وَابْنُ رَوَاحَةَ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ بِي حَتَّى أَشْرَفْتُ عَلَى غِلْمَانٍ يَلْعَبُونَ بَيْنَ نَهْرَيْنِ قُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالَ ذَرَارِيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَحْضُنُهُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ بِي حَتَّى أَشْرَفْتُ عَلَى ثَلَاثَةِ نَفَرٍ قُلْتُ مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ وَمُوسَى وَعِيسَى صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِمْ وَسَلَّمْ يَنْتَظِرُونَكَ  

"عَنْ سُليم بن عَامِر أبِى يَحْيَى الكلَاعِى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِى أَبُو أمَامَةَ البَاهِلِى، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ يَقُولُ: بَيْنَا أنَا نَائِمٌ إِذ أتَانِى رَجُلَانِ فَأَخَذَا بِضَبْعِى وَأَتْيا بِى جَبَلًا وَعْرًا فَقَالَا لِى: اصْعَدْ، فَقُلتُ: إِنِّى لَا أُطِيقهُ، فَقَالَا: إِنَّا سَنُسَهِّلهُ لَكَ، فَصَعَدْتُ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنْتُ في سَوَاءِ الْجَبَل إِذْ أَنَا بِأَصْواتٍ شَدِيدَةٍ، فَقُلتُ: مَا هَذِه الأصْوَات؟ قَالُوا: هَذَا عُوَاءُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، ثُمَّ انْطَلَقُوا بِى فَإِذَا أَنَا بَقْومٍ مُعَلَّقِينَ بِعَرَاقِيبِهِم مُشَقَّقَة أَشْدَاقُهُم، تَسِيلُ أشْدَاقهمْ دَمًا قُلتُ: مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالَ: هُمُ الَّذِين يُفْطِروُنَ قَبْل تَحِلَّةِ صَوْمِهِم، فَقَالَ أَبُو أُمَامَة: خَابَت الْيَهُود والنَّصَارَى، فَقَال سُلَيم: لَا أَدْرِى أَشْيئًا سَمِعَهُ أبُو أُمَامةَ مِنْ رَسُولِ الله ﷺ أَمْ شيئًا مِنْ رَأيِهِ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَا بِى فَإذَا أَنَا بِقَوْمٍ أَشَدَّ انْتِفَاخًا وَأسْوَأ مَنْظرًا، قُلتُ: مَنْ هَؤَلَاءِ؟ قَالَ: هَؤُلَاءِ قَتْلَى الْكُفَّارِ، ئُمَ انْطَلَقَا بِى فَإِذَا أَنَا بَقَوْمٍ أَشَدّ شَىْء انْتِفَاخًا

وَأَنْتَن بِهِ رِيحًا، وَأَسْوْأ بِه مَنْظرًا قُلتُ: مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالَ: هَؤُلَاءِ الزَّانُونَ والزَّوانِى، ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَا بِى فَإذَا أنَا بِنسَاء تَنْهَشُ ثَدْيهنَّ الْحَيَّاتُ، قُلتُ: مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالَ: هَؤُلَاءِ اللاتى يمنعن أولادهن أَلْبَانَهُنَّ، ثم انْطَلَقَا بى فإذا بغلمان يلعبون بين نهرين، قلت: مَنْ هؤلاء؟ قال: هؤلاء ذرارى الْمُؤْمنين، ثُمَّ تشرف بى شرفا فإذَا بِنَفَرٍ ثَلَاثَة يَشْرَبُون مِنْ خَمْرٍ لَهُم، قُلتُ: مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالَ: هَذَا جَعْفَر، وَزَيْد، وابْنُ رَوَاحَةَ ثُمَّ تشرف بِى شَرفًا آخَرَ فَإِذَا أَنَا بِنَفرٍ ثَلَاثَة، قُلتُ: مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ؟ قَالَ: هَذَا إبْرَاهِيمُ ومُوسَى وَعِيسَى وَهُمْ يَنْتَظِرُونَكَ".
