[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ bought from an Arab man. I thought he said from the Banu 'Amir ibn Sa'sa'ah, a load of dates. When it was time to pay him, the Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Choose." The Arab man said, "If I see anyone like you today, I will sell my life to him. Who are you?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "I am from the Quraysh." Ibn Wahb narrated this from Ibn Jurayj, following the condition of Muslim.  

الحاكم:٢٣٠٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَمْدَانَ الْجَلَّابُ بِهَمْدَانَ ثنا هِلَالُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ الرَّقِّيُّ ثنا الْمُعَافَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ أَعْيَنَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَنَّ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ اشْتَرَى مِنْ أَعْرَابِيٍّ حَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ حِمْلَ خَبَطٍ فَلَمَّا وَجَبَ لَهُ قَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اخْتَرْ» فَقَالَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ إِنْ رَأَيْتُ كَالْيَوْمِ مِثْلَكَ بَيِّعًا عَمْرُكَ اللَّهُ مِمَّنْ أَنْتَ؟ قَالَ «مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ» تَابَعَهُ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ تابعه ابن وهب عن ابن جريج على شرط مسلم

[Machine] He said that the Prophet ﷺ bought from an Arab. The narrator thought that Abu Zubair said it was from the Banu 'Amir bin Sa'sa'ah, carrying barley. When it was weighed, the Prophet ﷺ told him to choose. The Arab said to him, "If I have ever seen a better and more knowledgeable buyer than you today, then it is from the Quraysh." And that is how it was.  

البيهقي:١٠٤٤٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ أنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ اشْتَرَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مِنْ أَعْرَابِيٍّ قَالَ حَسِبْتُ أَنَّ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ حِمْلَ خَبَطٍ فَلَمَّا وَجَبَ قَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ اخْتَرْ فَقَالَ لَهُ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ إِنْ رَأَيْتُ كَالْيَوْمِ قَطُّ بَيْعًا خَيْرًا وَأَفْقَهَ مِمَّنْ أَنْتَ؟ قَالَ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ وَكَذَلِكَ
