Duʿāʾ is the believers weapon and a foundational pillar of faith (Īmān)

hakim:1812 – Abū ʿAbdullāh Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh al-Zāhid al-Aṣbahānī > Abū Bakr ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad b. ʿUbayd al-Qurashī > al-Ḥasan b. Ḥammād al-Ḍabbī > Muḥammad b. al-Ḥasan b. al-Zubayr al-Hamdānī > Jaʿfar b. Muḥammad b. ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn from his father from his grandfather > ʿAlī

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Duʿāʾ (supplication) is the weapon of the believer, the pillar of religion, and the nūr (light) of the heavens and the earth."  

الحاكم:١٨١٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزَّاهِدُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الضَّبِّيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الدُّعَاءُ سِلَاحُ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَعِمَادُ الدِّينِ وَنُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ فَإِنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ الْحَسَنِ هَذَا هُوَ التَّلُّ أَوْ هُوَ صَدُوقٌ فِي الْكُوفِيِّينَ
