hakim:164Abū al-ʿAbbās al-Sayyārī Bimarw > Abū al-Muwajjah > ʿAbdān > ʿAbdullāh > Misʿar > Ibrāhīm al-Saksakī > Aṣḥābunā > Abū al-Dardāʾ

[Machine] "And Abu al-Muwajjah informed us that Abdan reported from Abdullah who reported from Mis'ar, from Ibrahim al-Saksaki, who said: Our companions narrated to us from Abu al-Darda, that he said: Indeed, the most beloved of Allah's servants to Allah are those who make Allah beloved to people and those who show respect to the sun and the moon. This does not corrupt the first narration nor does it invalidate it, for Ibn Uyainah is a reliable memorizer (hafiz) and so is Ibn al-Mubarak, except that he has also brought other chains of narration similar to the meaning of the first hadith."
