[Machine] "That two of the servants of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was walking in Al-Baqi' during Ramadan, he saw a man shaving his head. He said, 'The one who shaved and the one whose head was shaved have broken their fast.' Ahmed bin Hanbal said, 'And this is the most authentic narration in this matter.'"  

الحاكم:١٥٥٩ – فَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرَوَيْهِ الصَّفَّارُ بِبَغْدَادَ مِنْ أَصْلِ كِتَابِهِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَشْيَبُ وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا الْحَسَنُ عَنْ شَيْبَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو قِلَابَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ

أَنَّ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَمْشِي فِي الْبَقِيعِ فِي رَمَضَانَ إِذْ رَأَى رَجُلًا يَحْتَجِمُ فَقَالَ «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ» قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ «وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ مَا رُوِيَ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ»

[Machine] Narrated by Thawban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, passed by Al-Baqi' on the eighteenth night that remained from Ramadan and he saw a man who was applying henna. So he said, "Has the person applying henna broken his fast, and the one it was applied to?"  

أحمد:٢٢٤١٠ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيِّ

عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْبَقِيعِ فِي ثَمَانِ عَشْرَةَ لَيْلَةً خَلَتْ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ بِرَجُلٍ يَحْتَجِمُ فَقَالَ أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ

[Machine] Thawban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, narrated: While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was walking in Al-Baqi' during Ramadan, he saw a man who was shaving his head. The Messenger ﷺ said, "The one who shaves and the one who is made to be shaved have both broken their fast."  

أحمد:٢٢٤٣٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ وَرَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيِّ قَالَ

حَدَّثَنِي ثَوْبَانُ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَمْشِي فِي الْبَقِيعِ فِي رَمَضَانَ رَأَى رَجُلًا يَحْتَجِمُ فَقَالَ أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ  

darimi:1772 – And Hb b. Jarīr > Hishām > Yaḥyá > Abū Qilābah > Abū Asmāʾ al-Raḥabī > Thawbān

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was walking in Al-Baqi' when he saw a man getting cupping (hijama) done. He said, "The person getting cupping done and the person doing the cupping have broken their fast." Abu Muhammad said, "I fear getting cupping done while fasting in Ramadan."  

الدارمي:١٧٧٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ ثَوْبَانَ حَدَّثَهُ
