[Machine] A woman wrote to him, "I have been experiencing menstruation since such and such days, and I have been informed that Ali said, 'One should perform ablution before every prayer.'" Ibn Abbas said, "We do not find anything contrary to what Ali said."

كَتَبَتْ إِلَيْهِ امْرَأَةٌ إِنِّي قَدِ اسْتُحِضْتُ مُنْذُ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَبَلَغَنِي أَنَّ عَلِيًّا قَالَ «تَغْتَسِلُ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ» قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ مَا نَجِدُ لَهَا غَيْرَ مَا قَالَ عَلِيٌّ
