[Machine] About the arrow of the close relative that Allah mentioned, and indeed, we used to see that the close relatives of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ were the most deserving of that. However, our people disagreed with us on this.  

الدارمي:٢٥١٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ قَالَ كَتَبَ نَجْدَةُ بَنُ عَامِرٍ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ إِنَّكَ سَأَلْتَ

عَنْ سهْمِ ذِي الْقُرْبَى الَّذِي ذَكَرَهُ اللَّهُ وَإِنَّا كُنَّا نَرَى أَنَّ قَرَابَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ هُمْ فَأَبَى ذَلِكَ عَلَيْنَا قَوْمُنَا
