I said to ʿAmr, "O Abu Muhammad! Did you hear Jabir bin ʿAbdullah saying, 'A man carrying arrows passed through the mosque and Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, 'Hold the arrows by their heads! "ʿAmr replied, "Yes." (Using translation from Bukhārī 7073)  

الدارمي:١٤٤٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ أَسَمِعْتَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ مَرَّ رَجُلٌ يَحْمِلُ نَبْلًا فَقَالَ

لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَمْسِكْ نُصُولَهَا؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ

ibnmajah:3777 – Hishām b. ʿAmmār > Sufayān b. ʿUyaynah > ʿamriw b. Dīnār > Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh

"A man passed through the masjid with some arrows, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Hold them by their heads!' He said: 'Yes(ok).'"
