Jannah is a reward for the one who shows patience at the passing away of their loved one

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Allah ﷻ says: ‘My believing servant has no other reward with Me except Jannah, when I take from the people of this world his cherished one, and he then seeks reward ˹from Me˺ for it.’”

البخاري:٦٤٢٤ – حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَال «يَقُولُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: مَا لِعَبْدِي الْمُؤْمِنِ عِنْدِي جَزَاءٌ إِذَا قَبَضْتُ صَفِيَّهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ احْتَسَبَهُ إِلاَّ الْجَنَّةُ».

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah says, 'I have nothing to give but Paradise as a reward to my believer slave, who, if I cause his dear friend (or relative) to die, remains patient (and hopes for Allah's Reward). (Using translation from Bukhārī 6424)
