I used to play with the dolls in the presence of the Prophet, and my girl friends also used to play with me. When Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to enter (my dwelling place) they used to hide themselves, but the Prophet would call them to join and play with me. (The playing with the dolls and similar images is forbidden, but it was allowed for ʿAisha at that time, as she was a little girl, not yet reached the age of puberty.) (Fath-ul-Bari page 143, Vol.13)  

البخاري:٦١٣٠ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ

كُنْتُ أَلْعَبُ بِالْبَنَاتِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَكَانَ لِي صَوَاحِبُ يَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ يَتَقَمَّعْنَ مِنْهُ فَيُسَرِّبُهُنَّ إِلَىَّ فَيَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي

'A'isha reported that she used to play with dolls in the presence of Messenger of Allah ﷺ and when her playmates came to her they left (the house) because they felt shy of Messenger of Allah ﷺ, whereas Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent them to her. (Using translation from Muslim 2440a)   

أحمد:٢٥٩٦٨ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كُنْتُ أَلْعَبُ بِالْبَنَاتِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ يَأْتِينِي صَوَاحِبِي فَكُنَّ إِذَا رَأَيْنَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْقَمِعْنَ مِنْهُ فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُسَرِّبُهُنَّ إِلَيَّ يَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي  

ahmad:24298 – Ibn Numayr > Hishām from his father > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] I used to play with the girls, and my friends would come to play with me. But when they saw the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , they would hide from him. The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , would then bring them to me, and they would play with me.  

أحمد:٢٤٢٩٨ – حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كُنْتُ أَلْعَبُ بِالْبَنَاتِ وَيَجِيءُ صَوَاحِبِيفَيَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي فَإِذَا رَأَيْنَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَقَمَّعْنَ مِنْهُ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُدْخِلُهُنَّ عَلَيَّ فَيَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي  

ذِكْرُ جَوَازِ لَعِبِ الْمَرْأَةِ إِذَا كَانَ لَهَا زَوْجٌ وَهِيَ غَيْرُ مُدْرِكَةٍ بِاللُّعَبِ

كُنْتُ أَلْعَبُ بِالْبَنَاتِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ فَكُنَّ يَأْتِينِي صَوَاحِبِي فَكُنَّ إِذَا رَأَيْنَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنْقَمِعْنَ مِنْهُ فَكَانَ ﷺ يُسَرِّبُهُنَّ إِلَيَّ يَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي «

[Machine] "I used to play with the girls, and then my friends would come and play with me. When they saw the Prophet ﷺ , they would leave and he would bring them to me to play with."  

ابن حبّان:٥٨٦٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«كُنْتُ أَلْعَبُ بِالْبَنَاتِ وَتَجِيءُ صَوَاحِبِي فَيَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي فَإِذَا رَأَيْنَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قُمْنَ مِنْهُ فَكَانَ يُدْخِلُهُنَّ إِلَيَّ فَيَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي»  

nasai-kubra:8897 – ʿAlī b. Ḥujr > ʿAlī / Ibn Mushir > Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] "I used to play with the girls at the house of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and I had friends who would come to me and play with me. They would gather around me when they saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would bring them to me and they would play with me."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٨٨٩٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيٌّ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«كُنْتُ أَلْعَبُ بِالْبَنَاتِ فِي بَيْتِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَكُنَّ لِي صَوَاحِبَ يَأْتِينَنِي فَيَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي فَيَتَقَمَّعْنَ إِذَا رَأَيْنَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُسَرِّ بِهِنَّ إِلَيَّ فَيَلْعَبْنَ مَعِي»
