Abul Qasim (the Prophet ﷺ ) said, "There is an hour (or a moment) of particular significance on Friday. If it happens that a Muslim is offering a prayer and invoking Allah for some good at that very moment, Allah will grant him his request." (The sub-narrator placed the top of his finger on the palm of the other hand between the middle finger and the little one.)

البخاري:٥٢٩٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ

أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ سَاعَةٌ لاَ يُوَافِقُهَا مُسْلِمٌ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي فَسَأَلَ اللَّهَ خَيْرًا إِلاَّ أَعْطَاهُ وَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ وَوَضَعَ أَنْمَلَتَهُ عَلَى بَطْنِ الْوُسْطَى وَالْخِنْصَرِ قُلْنَا يُزَهِّدُهَا

bukhari:6400 – Musaddad > Ismāʿīl b. Ibrāhīm > Ayyūb > Muḥammad > Abū Hurayrah

Abu-l-Qasim (the Prophet) said, "On Friday there is a particular time. If a Muslim happens to be praying and invoking Allah for something good during that time, Allah will surely fulfill his request." The Prophet ﷺ pointed out with his hand. We thought that he wanted to illustrate how short that time was.

البخاري:٦٤٠٠ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ

أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ سَاعَةٌ لاَ يُوَافِقُهَا مُسْلِمٌ وَهْوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُ خَيْرًا إِلاَّ أَعْطَاهُ وَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ قُلْنَا يُقَلِّلُهَا يُزَهِّدُهَا

muslim:852b – Zuhayr b. Ḥarb > Ismāʿīl b. Ibrāhīm > Ayyūb > Muḥammad > Abū Hurayrah

There is a time on Friday at which no Muslim would stand and pray and beg Allah for what Is good but He would give it to him; and he pointed with his hand that (this time) is short and narrow.

مسلم:٨٥٢b – حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ

أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ إِنَّ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ لَسَاعَةً لاَ يُوَافِقُهَا مُسْلِمٌ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ خَيْرًا إِلاَّ أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ وَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ يُقَلِّلُهَا يُزَهِّدُهَا

ibnmajah:1137 – Muḥammad b. al-Ṣabbāḥ > Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah > Ayyūb > Muḥammad b. Sīrīn > Abū Hurayrah

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘On Friday there is a time when no Muslim man happens to stand in prayer at that time, asking Allah for good things, but He will give that to him.” And he gestured with his hand to indicate how short that time is.

ابن ماجة:١١٣٧ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ

رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ سَاعَةً لاَ يُوَافِقُهَا رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ فِيهَا خَيْرًا إِلاَّ أَعْطَاهُ وَقَلَّلَهَا بِيَدِهِ

ahmad:7472 – Yazīd b. Hārūn > Ibn ʿAwn > Muḥammad > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet, ﷺ , he said: "Surely, in Friday, there is a specific hour. Ibn Aown pointed out to us with his right hand by his left hand, saying: 'Any Muslim who stands up and prays to Allah, asking for goodness, will be granted it.'"

أحمد:٧٤٧٢ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ لَسَاعَةً وَجَعَلَ ابْنُ عَوْنٍ يُرِينَا بِكَفِّهِ الْيُمْنَى فَقُلْنَا يُزَهِّدُهَا لَا يُوَافِقُهَا رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُ اللهَ خَيْرًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ

ahmad:7151 – Ismāʿīl > Ayyūb > Muḥammad > Abū Hurayrah

ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ جَلَّ وَعَلَا إِنَّمَا يَسْتَجِيبُ دُعَاءَ الدَّاعِي فِي السَّاعَةِ الَّتِي فِي الْجُمُعَةِ، إِذَا دَعَا فِي الْخَيْرِ دُونَ الشَّرِّ

ibnhibban:2773 – Aḥmad b. ʿAlī b. al-Muthanná > Abū Khaythamah > Ismāʿīl b. Ibrāhīm > Ayyūb > Muḥammad > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] Abū al-Qāsim ﷺ said, "On a Friday, there is an hour in which no Muslim is standing and praying, asking Allah for something good, except that Allah will grant it to him."

ابن حبّان:٢٧٧٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ
