bukhari:2889 – ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. ʿAbdullāh > Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar > ʿAmr b. Abū ʿAmr a freed slave of al-Muṭṭalib b. Ḥanṭab > Anas b. Mālik

I went along with the Prophet ﷺ to Khaibar so as to serve him. (Later on) when the Prophet ﷺ returned he, on seeing the Uhud mountain, said, "This is a mountain that loves us and is loved by us." Then he pointed to Medina with his hand saying, "O Allah! I make the area which is in between Medina's two mountains a sanctuary, as Abraham made Mecca a sanctuary. O Allah! Bless us in our Saʿ and Mudd (i.e. units of measuring)."  

البخاري:٢٨٨٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو مَوْلَى الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ حَنْطَبٍ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ؓ يَقُولُ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَى خَيْبَرَ أَخْدُمُهُ فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ رَاجِعًا وَبَدَا لَهُ أُحُدٌ قَالَ هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ ثُمَّ أَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لاَبَتَيْهَا كَتَحْرِيمِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَكَّةَ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي صَاعِنَا وَمُدِّنَا

[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ came back from Khaybar, and when he saw Uhud, he said, "This is a mountain that loves us and we love it." And when he approached Madinah, he said, "O Allah, I declare sacred the area between its date-palm trees, just as Ibrahim declared Makkah sacred."  

أحمد:١٣٥٢٥ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ بِلَالٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَقْبَلَ مِنْ خَيْبَرَ فَلَمَّا رَأَى أُحُدًا قَالَ هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ فَلَمَّا أَشْرَفَ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ قَالَ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا كَمَا حَرَّمَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ مَكَّةَ  

ahmad:13548 – Surayj > Ibn Abū al-Zinād > ʿAmr b. Abū ʿAmr > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] "I accompanied the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , from a journey from one of his trips. When we approached Uhud, the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, 'This is a mountain that loves us and we love it.' When he reached Medina, he said, 'O Allah, I declare as sacred what is between its two mountains, just as Ibrahim declared Makkah sacred. O Allah, bless their measures and their saa' (a unit of measurement).'"  

أحمد:١٣٥٤٨ – حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

أَقْبَلْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ سَفَرٍ مِنْ بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ فَلَمَّا بَدَا لَنَا أُحُدٌ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ فَلَمَّا أَشْرَفَ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ قَالَ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا مِثْلَ مَا حَرَّمَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ مَكَّةَ اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ فِي مُدِّهِمْ وَصَاعِهِمْ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, so he mentioned the hadith in its entirety in the story of Khaybar. He said, "When Uhud appeared to us, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'This is a mountain that loves us and we love it. When it came close to the city, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'O Allah, I make unlawful what is between its two lava fields, just as Ibrahim made Makkah unlawful. O Allah, bless them in their measures and their quantities.'"  

البيهقي:٩٩٥٨ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الشِّيرَازِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدٌ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ فِي قِصَّةِ خَيْبَرَ قَالَ فَلَمَّا بَدَا لَنَا أُحُدٌ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ فَلَمَّا أَشْرَفَ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ قَالَ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا كَمَا حَرَّمَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ مَكَّةَ اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِي صَاعِهِمْ وَمُدِّهِمْ
