74.15 The drinking of sweet edible things and honey

٧٤۔١٥ باب شَرَابِ الْحَلْوَاءِ وَالْعَسَلِ

[Machine] And Az-Zuhri said, "It is not permissible to drink the urine of people due to its impurity that descends, as it is impure. Allah the Almighty said, 'Lawful to you is (the pursuit of) game from the sea...' " (Quran 5:96) Ibn Mas'ud also said regarding alcohol, "Verily, Allah did not make your cure in what He prohibited for you."

وَقَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ لاَ يَحِلُّ شُرْبُ بَوْلِ النَّاسِ لِشِدَّةٍ تَنْزِلُ، لأَنَّهُ رِجْسٌ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: {أُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ}، وَقَالَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فِي السَّكَرِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ يَجْعَلْ شِفَاءَكُمْ فِيمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ.

bukhari:5614ʿAlī b. ʿAbdullāh > Abū Usāmah > Hishām from his father > ʿĀʾishah

The Prophet ﷺ used to like sweet edible things (syrup, etc.) and honey.  

البخاري:٥٦١٤حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُعْجِبُهُ الْحَلْوَاءُ وَالْعَسَلُ
