اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَضَلَّ اللَّهُ عَنِ الْجُمُعَةِ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَنَا وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

We were guided aright to Friday (as a day of prayer and meditation), but Allah diverted those who were before us from it. The rest of the hadith is the same.

مسلم:٨٥٦b – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ طَارِقٍ حَدَّثَنِي رِبْعِيُّ بْنُ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ هُدِينَا إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ وَأَضَلَّ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَنَا فَذَكَرَ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ ابْنِ فُضَيْلٍ
