[Machine] When you come to the city, ask. So when they came to the city, they asked and they were informed by Safiyyah. Among those they asked was Umm Sulaym, and she informed them about Safiyyah.  

البيهقي:٩٧٦١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ السَّقَّاءُ وَأَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ الْإِسْفَرَايِينِيَّانِ قَالَا أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْقَاضِي ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ سَأَلَ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ طَافَتْ بِالْبَيْتِ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ثُمَّ حَاضَتْ فَقَالَ تَنْفِرُ فَقَالُوا لَا نَأْخُذُ بِقَوْلِكَ وَهَذَا زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ يُخَالِفُكَ قَالَ

إِذَا أَتَيْتُمُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَسَلُوا فَلَمَّا قَدِمُوا الْمَدِينَةَ سَأَلُوا فَأَخْبَرُوهُمْ بِصَفِيَّةَ وَكَانَ فِيمَنْ سَأَلُوا أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ فَأَخْبَرَتْهُمْ بِصَفِيَّةَ
