bayhaqi:8580 – Sufyān b. Ḥusayn > al-Zuhrī > ʿUrwah > ʿĀʾishah > Nabī Allāh ﷺ

[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no staying in seclusion unless by fasting."  

البيهقي:٨٥٨٠ – وَرُوِيَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ؓ

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: " لَا اعْتِكَافَ إِلَّا بِصِيَامٍ  

أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ , ثنا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ , ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ , ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ , ثنا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ , ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ فَذَكَرَهُ وَهَذَا وَهْمٌ مِنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ أَوْ مِنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ , وَسُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ضَعِيفٌ بِمَرَّةٍ لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ مَا تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ. وَرُوِيَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ مَوْقُوفًا مَنِ اعْتَكَفَ فَعَلَيْهِ الصِّيَامُ
