[Machine] We memorized the night of Al-Qadr with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , then he said, "Which among you remembers when the moon rose and it was like half a date palm branch?"  

البيهقي:٨٥٥٣ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو نَصْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْفَامِيُّ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنْبَأَ وَقَالَ أَبُو نَصْرٍ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ قَالَا ثنا مَرْوَانُ ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

تَذَاكَرْنَا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ أَيُّكُمْ يَذْكُرُ حِينَ طَلَعَ الْقَمَرُ وَهُوَ مِثْلُ شَقِّ جَفْنَةٍ  

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ وَغَيْرِهِ وَقَدْ قِيلَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ إِنَّمَا يَكُونُ لِثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ

We were talking about Lailat-ul-Qadr in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said: He who amongst you remembers (the night) when the moon arose and it was like a piece of plate (at the fag end of the month in a state of waning).
